EDUCATION

 

2011

·         Residence project at Spinola-Banna Foundation (Poirino/Torino - Italy); tutor Ivan Fedele and piece (Anti-Diotima) performed by Valentina Coladonato and Prometeo string quartet.

 

2010/2011

·         Fellowship at Schloss Solitude Akademie (Stuttgart - Germany).

 

2010

·         Selected from the "Reading Session" of The International Summer Course for New Music Darmstadt, his piece was  perfomed by Ictus & Nadar Ensemble, following the masterclasses of Brian Ferneyhough and Georges Aperghis.

 

2009

·         Diploma, with the highest honors, at the Master’s courses of Ivan Fedele at the National Santa Cecilia  Academy in Rome.

·         Selected to attend the composition workshop at the Centre Acanthes, where he has studied with Ivan Fedele, Hugues Doufurt and Bruno Mantovani and his new piece was performed by the “Neue Vocal Solisten” of Stuttgart and Eric Chartier (percussions).

·         Selected  as “Composer in Residence 2009/2011” for the Schloss Solitude Akademie of Stuttgart (Germany).

 

2008 - 2009

·         Studied at IRCAM (Paris, France) - Cursus 1 in Composition and Computer Music 2008/2009, obtaining the artistic residence at the Citè Internationale des Arts.

·         From September 2008, thanks to the European Placement Scholarship, he will be researcher at the Mèdiathéque Mahler in Paris, developing a project of research on the music of Iannis Xenakis.

·         Following the Master’s courses of Ivan Fedele at the National Santa Cecilia  Academy in Rome.

 

2008

·         Selected to attend the composition workshop at the Centre Acanthes, where has studied with Salvatore Sciarrino and has written a new orchestral piece performed by Zsolt Nagy and the Soloists of the Orchestre National de Lorraine.

·         Following the Master’s courses of Ivan Fedele at the National Santa Cecilia  Academy in Rome.

·         Diploma in choral music.

 

2007

·         Studying Orchestra Conduction, choral music and choir direction, and is following the Master’s courses of Ivan Fedele at the Scuola superiore di Musica Pescarese (Pescara, Italy).

·         Selected for the Atelier de composition held by Michael Jarrell, Marco Stroppa and Yan Maresz at the Centre Acanthes (Metz, France) and his new orchestral piece was performed by the Orchestre National de Lorraine.

 

1998 – 2007

·         Studied and graduated in Composition with Lucia Ronchetti with highest honors from G. Martucci Conservatory of Salerno (Italy).

 

2005

·         Developed musicology activity at the San Carlo theatre of Naples, obtaining a scholarship.

 

1994 – 2004

·         Studied and graduated in Piano with Carmen Romano with highest honors from G. Martucci Conservatory of Salerno (Italy).

 

1986 – 1994

·         Studied piano and theory at the Scalabrini - Gmür Italian College in St. Gallen (Switzerland).
